The method includes: virtual extensible local area network tunnel end point (VTEP) receiving configuration information transmitted from the management layer; the VTEP receiving multicast packets transmitted from virtual machine (VM) managed by the VTEP, and after ensuring that the VM matches the VM tenant identity, while encapsulating the multicast packets to virtual extensible local area network (VXLAN), encapsulating the source address and the destination address of multicast packets to multicast address of the three-layer network according to the mapping relationship of VM multicast address and the three-layer network multicast address, and encapsulating the multicast packets VXLAN source address to the three-layer network multicast source address according to the mapping relationship of VM multicast source address and the three-layer network multicast source address, and transmitting the encapsulated multicast packets to the three-layer network. The technical solution provided by the present invention can make the VM choose multicast source correctly. |
