This component supply apparatus is disposed adjacent to a mounting apparatus that mounts components on a substrate, and the component supply apparatus supplies the components to the mounting apparatus. The component supply apparatus is provided with: a supply section that is provided with a magazine having a component-placed member housed therein, said component-placed member having the components disposed on the base material; a first side surface to which the supply section is attached; and a second side surface having the mounting apparatus disposed adjacent thereto. The component supply apparatus has a transfer section that transfers the component-placed member housed in the magazine. The supply section is slidably attached to the first side surface of the transfer section.
