<p>The present invention provides, inter alia, a distribution box that is able to suitably detect a power stoppage state and switch to an independent state, and is able to broaden usage applications of electric power for operating the distribution box. A distribution box (400) is provided with: a storage cell (442) provided with one or more storage cells, the storage cell (442) being electrically connected to a prescribed load; a detecting unit (412) for detecting a power stoppage state in which electric power is not supplied from a system power supply (122); a first switch (416A) provided between the system power supply (122) and the storage cell (442); and a control unit (414) for controlling at least the first switch (416A). When the detecting unit (412) detects a power stoppage state, the control unit (414) disestablishes the electrical connection between the storage cell (442) and the system power supply (122) by turning the first switch (416A) off, and the storage cell (442) supplies electric power to the control unit (414) and to the prescribed load by charging one or more of the storage cells.</p> |
