The block (20) has a fastening unit for attachment to a hydraulic pump (10) for delivering fluid (11) to the adapter block. Another fastening unit fixes a filter (30) that serves for filter contaminants from the fluid to the adapter block. A fluid communication unit establishes a fluid communication between the hydraulic pump and the filter. Two openings i.e. through-holes, are formed parallel to the fluid communication unit. A third opening is formed on two sides adjacent to the fluid communication unit.
