CONTROL METHOD OF DUO-MODE TOUCH SCREEN AND HANDHELD ELECTRONIC DEVICE

Disclosed are a control method of a duo-mode touch screen and a handheld electronic device. The control method comprises: obtaining a touch instruction being input and using it as a current instruction; determining whether the current instruction is a first mode instruction; if the current instruction is a first mode instruction, determining whether a reference instruction exists; if the reference instruction exists, determining whether the reference instruction is a second mode instruction; if the reference instruction is a second mode instruction, executing a cancelling instruction or an ending instruction, and executing the current instruction. The present invention can effectively decrease the probability of system errors, and the probability of errors caused by misoperation by a user.
