<p>A daisy-chained connection of a plurality of video sources (or repeaters connected to video sources) and a plurality of display devices (or repeaters connected to display devices) is not taken into consideration in the prior art literature. A repeater having an input unit capable of accepting input of video data and an output unit capable of outputting video data, wherein the repeater is characterized in that added to a message entered in the input unit is information pertaining to the amount of video data which the repeater can transmit and information pertaining to the amount of video data which the repeater is transmitting, the message being outputted from the output unit.</p> |
