<p>A method for producing thermoelectric conversion modules in a range of shapes, sizes and topologies is disclosed. A module is produced by forming a suitably configured assembly comprising shaped thermoelectric, insulating and, as necessary, conducting pieces disposed between the inner surfaces of first and second members, sealing the assembly in a compressible container and subjecting it to elevated isostatic pressure and temperature to form diffusion bonds between at least a fraction of the pieces and members and stabilize a suitable conducting path through the thermoelectric pieces.</p> |
