A method and base station for transmitting an MTC indication signalling, and an MTC scheduling method. The base station determines an MTC indication signalling according to the use condition of an MTC terminal resource; the base station transmits the MTC indication signalling to an adjacent base station; the base station receives an MTC indication signalling transmitted from the adjacent base station, and acquires MTC indication information therein representing the use condition of the MTC terminal resource; and the base station schedules an MTC according to the MTC indication information.
