PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently emit light from a light source on a light guide plate using a birefringence fiber and a matrix.SOLUTION: A light guide plate comprises: a light guide layer which has a light introduction surface for introducing light from a light source inside; a polarization separation layer which has a first isotropic matrix layer and a first fiber having birefringence arranged along a direction different from a normal direction of the light introduction surface inside the first matrix layer, and provided on the side of a light emission surface from the light guide layer; a low refractive index layer with a refractive index lower than that of the first matrix layer and provided on the side of the light emission surface from the polarization separation layer; and an angle raising layer which has a second isotropic matrix layer and a second fiber having birefringence arranged inside the second matrix layer, and provided on the side of the light emission surface from the low refractive index layer, in which refractive indexes of the first matrix layer, the second matrix layer, the first fiber, and the second fiber satisfy a predetermined condition. |
