PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a history of stores where a user made a purchase without changing a configuration on the store side.SOLUTION: A history generation device includes: a storage unit 24 that stores a card image including a code image capable of identifying a store on a display surface; a reception unit 40 that receives a display instruction of the card image corresponding to the store; a display unit 20 that displays the card image of the store instructed to be displayed; and a generation unit 42 that takes the store corresponding to the displayed card image as a store where a user made a purchase so as to generate history information.
