PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving accuracy in correcting image formation conditions by predicting a change in transfer amount of toner generated due to disturbance.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes an image carrier 50, a transfer unit 60, a density detection sensor 91, and a control unit 100. The density detection sensor 91 is arranged on the downstream side of the transfer unit 60 on the image carrier 50 to detect the density of a toner image P1 for a correction patch. The control unit 100 corrects image formation conditions on the basis of a detection value detected by the density detection sensor 91. The control unit 100 further corrects the detection value by using at least one or more pieces of information of the charge amount of toner and the resistance value of the transfer unit. |
