<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of image quality due to an insufficient charging time of a liquid crystal capacitor.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a plurality of first pixels disposed on a first pixel row; a plurality of second pixels disposed on a second pixel row immediately following the first pixel row; a first gate line for transmitting a first gate-on voltage to the first pixels; a second gate line for transmitting a second gate-on voltage to the second pixels; a plurality of data lines connected to the first and second pixels to transmit data voltages obtained from one input image signal; an image signal modifier for modifying a second input image signal for the second pixels on the basis of a first input image signal for the first pixels and the second input image signal for the second pixels to generate a modified image signal; a gate driver for applying the first gate-on voltage and the second gate-on voltage to the first and second gate lines; and a data driver for receiving the modified image signal to convert it to a data voltage and applying the data voltage to the data lines. In this case, the first gate-on voltage overlaps the second gate-on voltage for a predetermined time.</p> |
