PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and adsorption device for radioactive cesium-containing water capable of easily treating radioactive cesium-containing water during its treatment.SOLUTION: A treatment method for radioactive cesium-containing water treats radioactive cesium-containing water A, by supplying an adsorption device 1 for internally housing an adsorbent 4 with the radioactive cesium-containing water A to adsorb radioactive cesium to the adsorbent 4. The method mixes a first material as the adsorbent 4 adsorbing radioactive cesium and a second material that has radioactive cesium-adsorbing capacity lower than that of the first material or has no such capacity to control the amount of radioactive cesium adsorbed on the adsorbent 4.
