The present invention relates to a broadcasting signal receiving device and a control method thereof. The broadcast signal receiving device comprises a signal receiving unit for receiving broadcast signals; a signal processing unit for processing the received broadcast signals; a connecting unit for connecting a receiving limit module descrambling scrambled broadcast signals; and a control unit for monitoring the broadcast signals received from the receiving limit module when the connection of the receiving limit module through the connection unit is detected, and controlling the signal processing unit to control at least one timing of clock signal or data signal included in the broadcast signals when noise is generated in the broadcast signals received from the receiving limit module. By using the present invention, noise can be compensated in a software by controlling the timing of data signal or clock signal in the broadcast signal receiving device connected to the receiving limit module. |
