PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting device capable of accurately cutting a sheet in a vertical and horizontal directions.SOLUTION: A direction changing part B for changing a sheet conveying direction by 90° comprises a sheet guiding unit 4 fixed to a rotated endless chain 3 to move in a first conveying direction X. The front end of each strip-shaped part P of a cut sheet S discharged from a first cutting part A in the first conveying direction is gripped by the sheet guiding unit, and plates 1 and 1' are conveyed toward a stopper member. Just before the stopper member, the gripping is released, and simultaneously each strip-shaped part is slid while the front end of each strip-shaped part is pressed to the plate from above, and then the front end of each strip-shaped part is abutted on the stopper member. Each stopped strip-shaped member is adsorbed and conveyed in a second conveying direction Y by a suction belt 11 toward a second cutting part C. |
