<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unpurified components contained in exhaust gas.SOLUTION: A vehicle provided with a motor generator as a driving source comprises a battery for supplying power to the motor generator, an engine, and an ECU for controlling the vehicle in either control mode of a CS mode or a CD mode which limits the occasion of engine operation compared to the CS mode. When the engine is started, at least caused by decrease in a residual capacity of the battery during vehicle control in the CD mode, the ECU controls the engine according to a condition different from a condition used for controlling the engine in the CS mode.</p> |
