<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus capable of selecting an appropriate wireless system used for communication with another wireless communication apparatus from wireless systems that can be supported.SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus according to one embodiment includes a first processing unit and a second processing unit that supports a plurality of wireless systems. The first processing unit generates a first control signal related to connection settings on the basis of application data. The second processing unit, when receiving the first control signal from the first processing unit, generates a first frame related to connection processing that includes information related to at least one of the wireless systems and the transmission destination set on the basis of the first control signal, and transmits the frame by any of the wireless systems. The second processing unit, when receiving a second frame related to connection processing from another wireless communication apparatus, knows a wireless system supported by the other wireless communication apparatus on the basis of the second frame, and accordingly selects a wireless system used for data exchange with the other wireless communication apparatus from the wireless systems.</p> |
