<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device in which various types of information can be acquired only with a subscreen, without exposing the main screen to the outside by opening a lid.SOLUTION: In a cellular phone, a main screen faces the outside by opening a second cabinet 2, and a subscreen faces the outside in a state where the second cabinet 2 is closed. When a first operational action for the subscreen is detected in a state where the second cabinet 2 is closed and the number of newly arriving e-mails is displayed on the subscreen, display on the subscreen is switched from the number of newly arriving e-mails to the sender thereof. Furthermore, when a second operational action for the subscreen is detected in a state where the second cabinet 2 is closed and the number of missed calls is displayed on the subscreen, display on the subscreen is switched from the number of missed calls to the sender thereof.</p> |
