<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPS fiber for papermaking good in fiber dispersibility in water.SOLUTION: The polyphenylene sulfide fiber for papermaking has a composition containing polyphenylene sulfide of 90 mass% or more, and the fiber has a single fiber fineness of 0.5 to 8 dtex, a fiber length of 1 to 15 mm and a crimp number of 2 to 10/25 mm, and a hydrophilic oil agent as a dispersant is added to a fiber surface, and 0.05 to 1.0 mass% of the hydrophilic oil agent is added to the fiber.</p> |
