<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device in which the possibility of falling of a cushioning member at the time of assembly is reduced in the steering device, which includes fewer manufacturing processes and which can reduce cost.SOLUTION: In a steering device, a rack shaft 14 is made to stop by abutting an end surface on the rack shaft 14 side of a ball joint 29 against a fixing member end surface 22 of a housing 15 via a cushioning member 32 at a stroke end of the rack shaft 14. A stopper member 30 is fitted and fixed at a fitting part formed at the ball joint 29, the cushioning member 32 is arranged in such a manner that it is sandwiched between the ball joint 29 and the stopper member 30, and a contact part 32c is formed so as to protrude from the stopper member 30 at one part of the cushioning member 32.</p> |
