摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of inhibiting a monotonous impression from being given to a player in a symbol variable display to be executed on a game machine.SOLUTION: On the basis of a type of a special game, the game machine controls a game state, after the special game, to at least any of a first game state where a variable winning area is displaced at a prescribed rate to a first state in which a game ball easily enter, and a second game state where the variable winning area is more easily displaced to a first mode than the first game state and, when the game state is transferred to the second game state after the execution of the special game, after a lapse of a prescribed period, transfers from the second game state to the first game state. In the second game state, the game machine sets first setup data, when a player can obtain a specific determination result during the prescribed period, sets second setup data as substitute for the first setup data till the termination of the period, and variably displays, for a variation time based on the setup data, symbols for notifying the player of a determination result on whether or not to execute the special game.</p>
