摘要 The present invention prevents heat from flowing into an optical sheet or the like and minimizes positional displacement of an optical sheet when placed in an upright position. A liquid crystal display device (1) is provided with an optical sheet (10) and a resin-based chassis (11a-11f) that forms an air layer between the optical sheet (10) and a light guide plate. The resin-based chassis (11a-11f) has formed thereon a plurality of ribs (L1-L16) that engage with a plurality of holes (h1-h16) in the optical sheet (10). The plurality of holes (h1-h16) includes a first hole (h4) that is formed in the center of the upper long side of the optical sheet (10), a second hole (h12) that is formed in the center of the lower long side of the optical sheet (10), and a third hole (h9) that is formed along both of the short sides of the optical sheet (10). The first hole (h4) is immovable in directions that are parallel and perpendicular to the long side of the optical sheet (10) when engaged with the rib (L4), the second hole (h12) is immovable in a direction that is parallel to the long side when engaged with the rib (L12), and the third hole (h9) is movable in directions that are parallel and perpendicular to the short side when engaged with the rib (L9).
