This invention provides a simulation device capable of producing outstanding simulation results. The simulation device computes a solution to an equation that includes an advection term, and is characterized by comprising a velocity field acquisition unit for acquiring a velocity field, and a solution calculation unit for applying the acquired velocity field to a discretization equation obtained by adding at least two operations to the equation, and calculating a solution for the discretization equation, the two operations transforming the advection term to a conservative form and including a term for correcting an error in the conservative form of the advection term.
