[Problem] To provide: a piezoelectric element which is suppressed in separation of a surface electrode; and a piezoelectric vibration device, a portable terminal, a sound generator, a sound generation device and an electronic device, each of which is provided with this piezoelectric element. [Solution] A piezoelectric actuator (1) of the present invention is characterized by comprising a piezoelectric element (10) which is provided with: a plate-like laminate (4) wherein an internal electrode (2) and a piezoelectric layer (3) are laminated; and a surface electrode (5) that is arranged on one main surface of the laminate (4) and is electrically connected to the internal electrode (2). This piezoelectric actuator (1) is also characterized in that: the surface electrode (5) has a first region (501) and a second region (502); the first region (501) is mainly composed of silver; and the second region (502) is mainly composed of silver and palladium and is formed so as to be in contact with the piezoelectric layer (3).
