METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BLACKBOX OF VEHICLE BY USING MOBILE TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a black box of a vehicle using a portable terminal which can determine the occurrence of an accident and store the data by using one or more sensors for sensing images around a vehicle and a preset amount of impulse applying to the vehicle, and can check the current situations in real time by using devices including a portable terminal of a vehicle owner in a remote place. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling a black box of a vehicle comprises (a1) a step of calling a black box of a vehicle through wireless communications by using a portable terminal; (a2) a step of requesting the transmission of authentication information from the called black box of the vehicle to the portable terminal; (a3) a step of transmitting the authentication information to the black box through the portable terminal; (a4) and a step of transmitting information on images photographed by the black box of the vehicle when the authentication information transmitted from the portable terminal corresponds to the previously stored authentication information in the black box of the vehicle. According to the present invention, a vehicle owner in a remote place from a vehicle can check the situations around the vehicle on the real time basis by using a portable terminal of the vehicle owner through wireless communications between a black box and the portable terminal.
