摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber transmission characteristic measurement device which achieves an event search that takes into account waveform characteristics of a measurement target path by clearly and visually indicating the measurement target path and by automatically selecting and setting an optimum setting value for the measurement target path, and which allows a measurement operator, who is even not thoroughly familiar with characteristics of a passive optical network (PON), to efficiently perform measurement of the PON.SOLUTION: An optical fiber transmission characteristic measurement device is configured to measure a transmission characteristic of an optical fiber, based on an optical signal input to the optical fiber and on reflected light reflected inside the optical fiber. The optical fiber transmission characteristic measurement device includes: a measurement mode selection unit which selects at least PON mode; a measurement path selection unit which selects a path to be measured in the PON mode; an optimum initial value selection unit which selects an optimum initial value for the path selected by the measurement path selection unit; and a display unit which graphically displays the path to be measured in the PON mode.
