PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sense of incongruity of seating feeling while improving air permeability.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a seat pad 10 in which an air permeable member 14 comprising a three dimensional network structure is provided, penetrating from a pad front side of a bad body 12 made of a foam resin molding to a pad reverse includes the steps of: attaching the air permeable member 14 to a lower die 52 of a foam molding die 50; surrounding a lower end part 14A of the air permeable member 14 by a penetration suppressing wall 60 provided on the lower die 52; pouring a foam raw material 64 into the lower die 52; and forming the pad body 12 by foaming the foam raw material in the foam molding die 50 while suppressing penetration of the foam raw material into the lower end part 14A of the air permeable member 14 by the penetration suppressing wall 60, so as to integrate the air permeable member 14 with the pad body 12. |
