PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 22 having excellent abrasion resistance and durability.SOLUTION: A tire 22 comprises: a tread 24 with the outside surface serving as the tread surface 40; and a belt 32 located on the inside in the radial direction with respect to the tread 24. The belt 32 contains a large number of cords arranged in parallel, and each cord is inclined to the equatorial plane. The belt 32 is formed with a ply 54, and the ply 54 is folded at both ends of the belt 32. The folding leads to formation of an inner layer 56a, a middle layer 56b located on the outside in the radial direction with respect to the inner layer 56a and an outer layer 56c located on the outside in the radial direction with respect to the middle layer 56b. The middle layer 56b contains a first end 58a of the ply 54. The cord is preferably composed of an organic fiber. The outer layer 56c preferably contains a second end 58b of the ply 54. |
