PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based coating composition which can form a coating film excellent in smoothness, clarity, adhesion, and chipping resistance, and a coating film forming method using the water-based coating composition.SOLUTION: A water-based coating composition contains (A) an aqueous film forming resin, (B) a specific blocked polyisocyanate compound having a characteristic block structure, and (C) a specific acrylic urethane resin composite particles in which an acrylic resin has a crosslinked structure. |
