PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaner that is able to clean an optical connector by a simple method.SOLUTION: An optical connector cleaner 10 comprises: a guide plate 15 connected to the rear end of a blade 13 via an elastic body 12 stretchable in the direction of insertion; a guide 15 extending from the guide plate 15 parallel to the blade 13; a first holder 21 guided by the guide 15 so as to rotate or translate; a first cleaning body 18 held by the first holder 21 and formed from a material that attracts dust; and a second cleaning body 19 held on a second holder 22 parallel to the guide 15 and formed from a material that is able to remove dust sticking to the first cleaning body 18. The first cleaning body 18 rotates from a first position where it comes into contact with the second cleaning body 19 to a second position where it faces an optical connector 3, by using pressing force applied to the guide plate 11 in the direction of insertion. The first cleaning body 18 translates from the second position to a third position where it comes into contact with the optical connector 3, thereby removing dust on the optical connector 3 by use of the first cleaning body 18. |
