<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a connector, while preventing erroneous fitting of the connector.SOLUTION: A spring lock type connector comprises: a male connector M having a cylindrical front side hood part 52; a female connector F having a terminal housing 12 fitted into an inner peripheral side of the front side hood part 52 and fittable into an outer peripheral side of the front side hood part 52; and a spring 40 which is fitted into the female connector F and can be expanded and deformed in conjunction with fitting of it into the male connector M. An engaging part 43 arranged on an approach passage of the front side hood part 52, is provided on the spring 40. When fitting each other at a proper fitting posture, a guide-in part 57 capable of engaging with the engaging part 43 by riding of the engaging part 43, is provided on an opening edge part of the front side hood part 52, and when fitting each other at an improper fitting posture, the fitting operation is precluded by bringing a part other than the guide-in part 57 on the opening edge part of the front side hood part 52 into abutment with the engaging part 43.</p> |
