PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a coordinate input device capable of preventing emitted light of a light source from being directly incident on light receiving means.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device comprises a light absorber (24A) as removing means for removing unnecessary light which is incident from a light source unit (4A) to a light guide plate (10), directly propagates toward an imaging unit (20), and is incident on the imaging unit (20).
