<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data transmitter arranged so that stress is not applied to a sender or an appreciator, by transmitting an image for ensuring reproduction appropriate to the situation depending on a scene for appreciating a captured image.SOLUTION: Upon starting transmission of image data (S13→S17), the processing to be performed based on the vibration detection results from a vibration detection unit 5 is changed, in response to a response signal from a reproduction apparatus of transmission destination. In the case of a cellular phone 20a capable of exchanging signals bi-directionally, image data is transmitted (S26→S32) upon detection of vibration. In the case of a television 20b not possible to exchange signals bi-directionally, the same image is re-transmitted (S44→S35) upon detection of vibration until the transmission time ends, and image data is transmitted upon detection of vibration after the transmission time has elapsed (S46→S36).</p> |
