This laser punch (10) has: a left-side outgoing-radiation device (28) for focusing the light of a branched laser beam (BL) from a left outgoing-radiation window (24) positioned on the left portion (16L) side of a double filter (16) onto the right portion (16R) of the double filter (16) when a double filter cigarette (12) is placed in a punch position (PP) specified by a punch drum (20), and forming a punch (H) diagonally in relation to the axis line of the double filter cigarette (12) in the right portion (16R); and a right-side outgoing-radiation device (30) for focusing the light of a branched laser beam (BR)from a right outgoing-radiation window (26) positioned on the right portion (16R) side of the double filter cigarette (12) onto the left portion (16L) of the double filter (16), and forming a punch (H) diagonally in relation to the axis line in the left portion (16L). |
