<p>The present invention applies to the communications field and provides a method and a system for notifying a user equipment on a non-3GPP network. The method comprises: a communication interaction entity receiving a notification message sent by a server, wherein the notification message comprises an identifier of the user equipment and notification information; the communication interaction entity obtaining the identifier of a gateway that provides a service for the user equipment from a home subscriber server (HSS) or a home location register (HLR) according to the identifier of the user equipment; the communication interaction entity sending the notification information to the user equipment through the gateway. Compared with prior art, embodiments of the present invention can enable the server to send a notification to the user equipment on the non-3GPP network, and thus solve a problem that the server cannot perform equipment triggering on the user equipment when the user equipment accesses a 3GPP network through a non-3GPP method.</p> |
