<p>Provided is a target detection device in which tracking is performed (S110-S160) using pre-target element units that are the reflection points of reflected waves corresponding to each of a plurality of unit areas constituting a search area. In other words, a pre-target element is acquired (S110) after measurement data is acquired (S100), the correspondence relationship with a pre-target element from the previous cycle is tracked (S120), information related to the pre-target element is updated (S140) if the elements are associated (S130: YES), and information related to the pre-target element is newly registered (S150) if the elements are not associated (S130: NO). Clustering is subsequently performed on the basis of (a) the distance of the pre-target element, (b) whether it was possible to track the pre-target element throughout a predetermined interval, and (c) whether the motion states of the pre-target elements are the same.</p> |
