PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food container of a structure in which a hinge member is hardly damaged.SOLUTION: A food container 1 includes: a container body 2; a lid body 11 covering an upper opening of the container body 2; and a hinge member 21 rotatably provided on the lid body 11 and engaged with the container body 2. Since the hinge member 21 in an engaged state is positioned inside projections 5T and 7T as the outermost part of the container body 2 or the lid body 11, the hinge member 21 in a state of being engaged with the lid body 11 receives no impact from the outside to be not damaged. Especially, the hinge member 21 receives no impact from the outside, so that a joint portion of the lid body 11 and the hinge member 21, in which a lot of damages are seen, is not damaged. Since when dropped to the ground surface, only the container body 2 and the lid body 11 are brought into contact with the surface, the hinge member 21 is prevented from contact-surface, and owing to no contact-surface, the hinge member 21 to be touched by a switching operation hardly gets dirty to be hygienic. |
