PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly adjust temperature conditions in a center part and an end part of a fixing member to enable printing, to reduce wait time, and to maintain excellent fixation quality.SOLUTION: A heater for heating a fixing belt includes a center heater 35a and an end heater 35b. Temperature sensors 36A, 36B are arranged for heating areas of the heaters. Regulation duties can be set individually so as to regulate electric power to be supplied to the center heater 35a and the end heater 35b. When a predetermined state in each heater continues for a predetermined time, the regulation duties of the heaters are changed so as to preferentially distribute electric power to a heater having a larger difference between a target temperature and a current temperature. The target temperature can be reached more quickly, while preventing temperature drop or overshoot. |
