摘要 The invention relates to gas-lubricated sliding bearings used in rotor supports of high speed turbomachines. The bearing assembly comprises a foil journal bearing and axle bearing, a starting torque control device for controlling the rigidity of the bearing while in operation, an electromagnetic discharge system for reducing rotor vibration amplitude, and a discharge element which increases the maximum bearing load without damaging the bump foils. The foil journal bearing comprises an insert 6, which makes it possible to compensate for bearing misalignment with respect to the journal, and an elastic member in the form of an elastic damping unit for increasing damping, which consists of a bump foil 20 and two smooth foils 16 and 22. The bump foils in the bearing have different heights and alternate in the axial direction to reduce wear during start-up and stopping. The top foil 4 of the bearing is weldlessly held in grooves in keys 70 and 80. The axle bearing has bump foils with ridges disposed circumferentially in order for the bearing to work in sealing mode. The top foils of the bearing are provided with circumferential slots in order to reduce thermal deformations.
