<p>[Problem] To provide a power generating device that generates a large electromotive force using an inexpensive and safe magnetic powder and makes it possible to be used in states other than a raised state. [Solution] A power generating device comprises: a cylindrical body (2) constructed so as to be able to be hermetically sealed; a coil (3) provided on an outer circumferential portion of the cylindrical body (2); and a permanent magnet (4) provided outside the coil (3). A mixture (5) obtained by mixing a magnetic powder (51) with a liquid or another nonmagnetic powder is sealed inside the cylindrical body (2) so that a space is formed therein, and thereby is allowed to move inside the cylindrical body (2), the magnetic powder (51) preferably having a diameter of 10μm to 100μm, inclusive, and being not magnetized. Alternatively, as a liquid like this, by using a liquid containing a surface-activating agent and a defoaming agent, the magnetic powder (51) is non-aggregated and allowed to move inside the cylindrical body (2).</p> |
