The invention relates to a device for resurfacing the metatarsal-phalangeal or metacarpal-phalangeal joint, including a resurfacing prosthesis or implant consisting of: a head (V) that is intended to make up one element of the metatarsal-phalangeal or metacarpal-phalangeal joint; and an anchoring pin (2) that is insertable in the diaphyseal portion of a bone (') of said joint and includes a locking means (3, 4) making it possible to lock the pin (2) into said diaphyseal portion of the bone (O'). Said device is characterized in that the anchoring pin (2) is tapered so as to enable the insertion thereof into the diaphyseal portion of the bone (O, O') and has longitudinal ribs (5) that enable firm anchoring in the diaphyseal portion of the bone and prevent rotation of the prosthesis.
