<p>In the method for mixing reducing agent with exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine, a partial exhaust gas stream is separated from the main exhaust gas stream on the downstream side of the catalyst elements (3a) of a catalytic converter (3), reducing agent is mixed with the partial exhaust gas stream, and the mixture of the reducing agent and the exhaust gas is introduced into the main exhaust gas stream on the upstream side of the catalyst elements (3a).
