PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element which has reduced manufacturing cost and furthermore, has improved output performance.SOLUTION: A power storage element 10 includes: a positive electrode 410; a negative electrode 420; a separator 430 arranged between the positive electrode 410 and the negative electrode 420; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode 420 has a negative electrode active material containing at least carbon, and the separator 430 includes a cellulose fiber. On the surface of one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode, a protective layer is formed, and the protective layer is constituted of ceramic having insulation properties. |
