A drainage and filtering system for a washing machine and a washing machine with the same. The filtering system comprises an outer barrel and a filtering apparatus (4); a bottom of the outer barrel (1) is provided with a groove (2); a bottom of the groove (2) is provided with a drainage port (3); the filtering apparatus (4) is arranged in the groove (2) and covers an upper part of the drainage port (3); the filtering apparatus (4) is provided with at least one filtering passage (5) leading to the drainage port (3); a foreign material stop structure is arranged in the filtering passage (5); the filtering apparatus (4) comprises an upper cover board (41) matched with a shape of an opening of the groove (2), a side wall baffle (51) arranged on a lower surface of the upper cover board (41) to form a side wall of the filtering passage (5), and filtering baffles (52) arranged in the filtering passage (5); and the filtering baffles (52) are matched with the side wall baffle (51), or each two filtering baffles are matched and the filtering baffles (52) are matched with the side wall baffle (51) to form a bent waterway (53) between an inside of the outer barrel and the drainage port (3). The drainage and filtering system for the washing machine has a simple structure, is convenient to install and can effectively prevent foreign materials from entering a drainage valve or a drainage pump through the drainage port.
