<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for authenticating an original using product physical-feature and position information of a product, which enable the original product to be discerned through authentication information packaged with the product serial number (or similar indication) and physical-feature information. To this end, the present invention provides an explicit original identification base by constructing a database (DB) using the authentication information having the product serial number, or similar indication information, and product physical-feature information packaged into one, and including an authentication management server which searches the authentication information DB for original authentication information of a product corresponding to a serial number included in the authentication request information received from a shop server or a communication terminal, which confirms whether the original is authenticated by comparing the physical-feature information on the authentication information packaged together with the serial number with the physical-feature information on an authentication target product, and which transmits the authenticated result to the shop server or the communication terminal.</p> |
