<p>The present invention relates to a variable friction damper and, more specifically, to a variable friction damper which is installed in a building structure, thereby reducing vibrations which are applied to the building structure due to external factors such as earthquakes. The variable friction damper according to the present invention can move along two axes, in a left-and-right direction extending along an x axis and in an up-and-down direction extending along a y axis, or along three axes including a back-and-forth direction extending along a z axis and thus can effectively reduce an external force which is applied to the structure.</p> |
