The present invention relates to a water-soluble flame retardant solution forming a fine film since an absorption rate is high without the generation of efflorescence or dew condensation on the surface of wood, a flame retardant processing method for wood and flame retardant wood thereby. The flame retardant solution of the present invention is an environmentally-friendly flame retardant solution which does not use organic compounds harmful to human bodies such as a phenol based resin, chloroparaffin and the like and is able to prevent indoor air pollution caused by processing products. Additionally, the water-soluble flame retardant solution of the present invention is able to maintain natural wood incense and temperature and humidity control functions which are the intrinsic characteristics of wood by minutely forming a film since the absorption rate is high. The flame retardant wood of the present invention has antifungal and antifreezing functions without efflorescence or dew condensation.
