PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a program in a reproduction mode suitable for a user.SOLUTION: A usage history management section 152, on the basis of usage history information 161, selects a reproduction mode which a user specified with the highest frequency in the past period who is specified by a user specification section 151 to a program corresponding to a reproduction operation among a plurality of types of reproduction modes. A reproduction mode switching section 153 sets the selected reproduction mode to a decoder block 115. The decoder block 115 reproduces the program corresponding to the reproduction operation performed by the specified user in the set reproduction mode.
