WIRE GUIDES AND ANCHORS FOR ENDOSCOPY Abstract A wire guide system is provided for use during a endoscopic surgical procedures. The wire guide system includes a cylindrical shaft (10) having a hollow chamber along a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical shaft (10), a flange (12) fit disposed around the cylindrical shaft (10) and a seal (30) disposed around the cylindrical shaft (10) and abutting the flange (12). The system may also include an anchor (20) affixed to the cylindrical shaft (10) and having an aperture (22) from which at least one of a sensor, a light, a camera, tissue and/or organs may be suspended therefrom and at least one cable (62) extending from one end (1Oa) of the cylindrical shaft (10) to another end (lOb) of the cylindrical shaft (10) through the hollow chamber.
