PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder capable of using measurement information during grinding without using a dedicated device and calculating the rigidity of a workpiece with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: Positions X1 and X2 of a grinding wheel 15, diameters r1 and r2 of a workpiece W and pressing force to the workpiece W by the grinding wheel 15 are respectively measured in each of a plurality of states in which a defection amount of the workpiece W is changed by changing the flow quantity of a grinding fluid to be supplied to a grinding point of the workpiece W. The rigidity of the workpiece W is calculated on the basis of the respective measured positions X1 and X2, diameters r1 and r2 and pressing force. |
